Dinuka surpass 50 wickets in the season

Colombo Cricket Club's Dinuka Hettiarachchi picked up a match-bag of
11 wickets to defeat Galle Cricket Club by an innings and 56 runs in
their Premier League match, concluded at CCC yesterday.
The left arm spinner took seven wickets for 58 runs when Galle CC
were forced to follow on after they were bowled out for 188 in reply for
CCC's 367 runs. Thirty-six-year-old Sri Lanka Test player, who played a
solitary Test in 2001 against England at SSC, topped the bowling list in
the current domestic season having captured 51 wickets after seven
matches. Hettiarachchi became the first bowler to have 50 scalps in the
current domestic tournament with five five-wicket hauls and two
match-bag of 10s.

Kusal's triple ton earns top spot
Dashing left hander of Colts Cricket Club, Kusal Janith Perera became
the leading run getter in the tournament after he powered Colts to beat
Saracens by innings and 87 runs at Colts yesterday.
Perera scored 336 runs in Colts’ 611/8 declared innings and the hard
hitter topped the batting list for his 695 runs with two centuries
(triple and double ton) and a fifty. Saracens were bowled out twice for
184 and 140.
