Dilan re-elected SLVF President
Foreign Employment and Welfare Minister Dilan Perera was re-elected
uncontested as the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF) President for
the next two years during the SLVFAnnual General Meeting held at the
Foreign Employment Bureau auditorium on Saturday.

Jayaratne got the highest votes (113) among the seven contestants for
six Vice Presidencies. Parliamentarians Shantha Bandara, Dilum Amunugama,
Air Marshall R J Pathirage, Mahinda Senarath Bandara and National Youth
Council Chairman Lalith Piyum Perera were also elected Vice Presidents.
Susil Ranasinghe was re-elected as the General Secretary. Colonel
Mahesh Abeyratne and K R Ratnamudali were elected Assistant Secretaries
while Rohan Somawansa was elected Treasurer. Others elected were,
Assistant Treasurer: SSP Prishantha Jayakody, Ground Secretary: A S
Nayaka and Chief Organizer: Nalin gamlath.
The AGM was conducted according to the new Sports regulations and the
committee will be valid for two years.
