Fathima SC win Bandula Padmakumara Challenge Trophy
Mudukatuwa Fathima SC emerged champions by beating Totalanga Aruna SC
in the final of the Quadrangular Elle Championship, played for the
Bandula Padmakumara Challenge Trophy at the Nawaloka Grounds in Welisara
last Saturday.

The tournament was organized in line with the 30th Anniversary
Celebrations of the “Kreeda magazine”, a publication of Associated
Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House).
In the final, Totalanga Aruna SC scored 15 runs which was an easy
score for the Mudukatuwa Fathima SC team to chase.
Lake House, Totalanga Aruna, Rangammulla Eksath and Mudukatuwa
Fathima teams contested in the tournament in front of a massive
audience. Lake House Chairman Bandula Padmakumara was the chief guest at
the event while ANCL Directors Seelarathna Senarath (Editorial), Rasanga
Harischandra (Legal), Upul Dissanayake (Operations), Parliamentarian
Kamala Ranatunga, Western Provincial Council member Merryl Perera,
Kreeda Magazine Editor Jagath Hewapanna and several Lake House officials
were also present.
