Five DIGs transferred

Inspector General of Police N K Illangakoon approved the transfer of five Deputy Inspector Generals with immediate effect due to service requirements. DIG Vass Gunawardena has been transferred to Gampaha district from Ratnapura while Gampaha DIG A Sarath Kumara has been transferred to the Kurunegala district.

Kurunegala district DIG L G Kularatne has been transferred to the Trincomalee district. Meanwhile, DIG Trincomalee S Mahesh Perera has been transferred to Ratnapura while Kegalle districts DIG A C Wijeyesuriya has been transferred to the Nuwara Eliya district.
