Time denied Kandy Cricket Club of a certain outright win over
Petersons Cricket Club, Colombo in their Sri Lanka Cricket's Division
two cricket tournament match played at Sri Rahula College grounds
Katugastota over the Weekend.
Kandy Cricket Club who gained a first innings lead of 37 had their
opponent tottering at 80 for 9 in 38 overs when stump were drawn. It was
their late order batsman Mahes Godapitya who batted for over 12 overs
who stalled the Kandy team with his unbeaten 12.
