Azar Central College, Akurana scored an easy ten wicket win over Vidyaratna Maha Vidyalaya, Horana in schools under 19 division three limited over cricket tournament match played at Akurana yesterday.

Vidyaratna MV batting first were dismissed for 98 with medium pacer A. Asmar capturing 4 for 19.

Azar Central hit off the runs to win in just 8.5 overs. Mohamed Umair Khan clouted a quick 70 with 9 fours and 4 sixes off only 34 balls and put 102 in an unbroken opening stand with Mohamed Saffran who made 17 not out.

Vidyaratna MV 98 all out in 26.2 overs (Sasanka Chanaka 23 not out, Lahiru Maduka 11, T.M. Dilshan 10, S. Thillina 14, A. Asmar 4 for 19, Umair Khan 2 for 331).

Azar Central College 102 for no loss in 8.5 overs (M. Umair Khan 70 not out, M. Saffran 17 not out).
