The Ministry of Child Development and
Women’s Affairs donated Motorbikes to the Women Development
Officers attached to the Divisional Secretariats in the Ampara
District recently. A ceremony to mark the handing over of
Motorbikes were held at the Ampara District Secretariat under
the patronage of District Secretary Niel de Alwis. Here,
Minister of Child Development and Women’s Affairs Tissa
Karaliyadda, was chief guest is seen handing over the key to an
officer. Country Representative of United Nations Populations

People’s Bank made a contribution to
South Eastern University of Sri Lanka for their General
Convocation which was held at the University Park in Oulvil.
