CNCI holds seminar on Export, Import sector

It is a well known fact that earning valuable foreign exchange is heavily depended on the growth of the Export sector. In order to strengthen the economy it is of fruitful importance that Sri Lanka earns foreign exchange and increases the global trading activities up to a higher degree. In order to realize this dream we need to support , encourage and educate the industry and manufacturing service sector enterprises in Sri Lanka . Observing the slow movement of the Export sector,

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries CNCI, the pioneer industry Chamber in the Country has organized a full day seminar/workshop under the theme of Export/ Import Certifications/ Customs procedures and formalities. Specifically to educate the export sector enterprises in the subject covering all theoretical and practical procedures in handling Export trade .

This unique seminar will be conducted by two of the best presenters in the area of Export and Import and certification and documentations and the other presenter is one of the best consultants and expert in the Customs, Port Authority formalities, documentation, including shipping and freight forwarding.

As quoted by Kumara kandalama, the Secretary General / CEO of the Chamber CNCI, During the full day Seminar/ workshop the subject matters such as introduction to export, Sales contracts, method of settlement of payment, certifications and registrations, inco term 2010 version , Sri Lanka port authority formalities, Sri Lanka Customs formalities/ documentations/ HS codes, shipping rules, Certification and standard certifications are expected to be discuss covering A - Z of the entire subject matter. The objective will be to impart knowledge and to provide the latest information and guidelines and to educate the business entrepreneurs / Exporters and Importers and also the respective officials and to encourage them to enter the Export sector particularly , which will provide dividends for the future. A longstanding experience of over 20 years dealing with the export & import with customs formalities , the highly involved and reputed presenters are expected to make this event a memorable experience for those who attend this seminar/workshop.
