Asitha and Thenuka put Panadura Royal in lead

Royal College, Panadura has gain a first innings lead of eleven runs in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against S de S Jayasinghe Vidyalaya, Dehiwala played at Dehiwala.

Taking the first lease, Panadura Royalists made 166 runs with Ashan Pushpakumara making the top score of 52 runs while Asitha Dananjaya contributing 46 runs. Mahesh Peiris claimed 3 for 29 for the homesters.

In reply S de S Jayasinghe Vidyalaya were all out for 155 runs with Ashan Iluwanayake scoring 36 runs and Asitha Fernando capturing 4 for 50 for the visitors.

At the end of day one Panadura Royalists were 40 for 1.
