The under thirteen division one cricket captain of Royal College,
Panadura left arm leg spinner and left hand batsman Udara Piyumal de
Silva excelled in the just concluded under Thirteen Cricket Tournament
organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association.

He commenced his cricket career under the Royal College, Panadura
cricket coach former Moratu Vidyalaya player Sumith Prasanna.
In the first round they were unbeaten and lost to formidable Richmond
College, Galle in the pre-quarter finals. Altogether in nine games he
captured 38 wickets with a one ten wicket haul 5 for 15 in the first
essay and 5 for 15 in the second innings against Aluthgama Vidyalaya.
Also he took 5 for 21 versus Sri Sumangala and 5 for 13 against Tissa
Central and his average being 3.9.
