Lankan, Indian fishermen clash
Sri Lankan and Indian fishermen clashed in
mid-sea off Mannar on Sunday after the latter allegedly tried to
trespass into Sri Lankan waters. A group of Tamil Nadu fishermen had
also tried to take control of a boat owned by the Sri Lankan
fishermen and flee towards the Indian waters during the clash near
the International Maritime Boundary Lines (IMBL), Sri Lanka Navy
sources said.

Former manager held for accessing company data base
A former manager attached to a private sector
tour operator was arrested on suspicion on February 7 for allegedly
obtaining unauthorised access to the company’s electronic data base
and using certain e-mail tour orders gained by the company to
organise outside tours to deprive the company of its anticipated
income.
