Anniversary celebrations

The 10th anniversary of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists will be held tomorrow (16) at 6 pm at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI), Colombo7, a Health Ministry spokesman said.

According to the spokesman, the theme of the event will be 'the journey towards excellence, a decade and beyond'. At the moment there

are about 50 ENT doctors serve countrywide. The President of the association is Dr. Ms. Chandra Jayasuriya.

"The association works towards providing education, training and conducting researches. Two prominent British ENT surgeons, Dr.Robin Youngs and Dr.Robert Nills will take part in the workshop and lecture sessions, the spokesman said.

The Chief Guest of the event will be Prof. J.B. Dissanayake while Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Nihal Jayatilleke will be the Guest of Honour.
