Gamini Senerath to head People’s Bank

Gamini Senerath, Chief of the Presidential Staff, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the People’s Bank by President Mahinda Rajapaksa with effect from yesterday.

He fills the void created by W. Karunajeewa, who passed away recently.
