Ferguson Youth win easily

Ferguson Youth SC defeated Old D S Senanayaka SC by 3-0 in another
encounter of the Colombo Football League Division II Tournament
continued at Moragasmulla grounds on Saturday.
Striker M Fouzul Hameed scored the first goal in the 55th minute. A
few minutes later M Azar made it 2-0 when he converted a penalty awarded
for a infringement inside the box. Azar scored another goal in the 70th
minute to end the game 3-0. M Muzamil, M Mohamed and R S Ratnayake
refereed.
At M H Mohamed Playground Ratnam SC drew with Colpetty United SC by
two all. On the same day Kolons SC received a walk over from York SC.
Saunders SC defeated Hinduitz SC by 3-2 at M H Mohamed Playground on
Sunday.
The tournament continues this Saturday with Colombo Veterans vs
Saunders SC at M H Playground, Premier SC vs Blue Belts at Cooray Park,
Soccer Fan SC vs Challenger SC at Campbell Park and Kolons SC vs
Eveready SC playing at Moragasmulla playground.
On Sunday Old Hinduitz will meet Colpitiy United SC at Moragasmulla
while Henamulla SC play against Moragasmulla SC at M H playground.
Railway SC vs Java Lane SC will be at Campbell park. All matches starts
at 3.30pm. |
