Centurians Gayan and Avishka put Sebs in command

Two fine centuries by Sebs openers Gayan Silva 106 and Avishka Fernando 100 not out put up 217 runs for the first wicket in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against St. Sylvester's College, Kandy and worked off at Moratuwa.

Sebs with a first innings win under their belt resumed the play on day-two at 157 for no loss declared at 221 for 1 with Gayan Silva occupying the crease for 161 minutes facing 104 balls and hitting twelve fours and two sixes while Avishka Fernando hit seven hits to the rope and two over occupying the crease for 161 minutes and facing 113 balls.

In their second essay Sylvestrians bounced back and at stumps they were 148 for 2 with Indunil Samarananda unbeaten on 66 runs while Mohomed Rifaz and Hansamal Perera contributed 31 and 37 runs respectively.
