High achievers of Cambridge Examinations

The Group of Lyceum International Schools have once again produced high achievers at the Cambridge Ordinary Level (O/L) and Advance Level (A/L) Examinations in 2011/2012.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards ceremony was held at the Taj Samudra Hotel last year at which the high flyers celebrated their outstanding achievements.

Sajana Sathsara Meddaduwage student of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda had obtained the “Top in the World” for A/L – Computing Studies at the Cambridge Examination.

Lyceum International Schools also bagged a number of “Top in Sri Lanka” awards for O/L. The students who won these awards were Archana Prabhakar (Lyceum – Nugegoda) in French, Ashani Weranga Diddeniya (Lyceum – Nugegoda) in Human & Social Biology, Ishanki Anjana De Mel (Lyceum – Nugegoda) in Environmental Management, Nafees Nasser (Lyceum-Nugegoda) in Human & Social Biology, Natalya Kushlanthi Dissanayake (Lyceum-Nugegoda) in Biology and Chemistry, Nayomi Rebecca Girdharimal (Lyceum-Nugegoda) in Business Studies, Rehanga Geesara Ranthi Gamage (Lyceum-Nugegoda) in Computer Studies, Ushani Madushika Pitadeniya (Lyceum-Nugegoda) in O/L – Physics, Nafeez Ahamed Nawaz (Lyceum-Wattala) in Economics, Tithira Asel Binura Wijesinghe (Lyceum-Wattala) in Biology & Literature in English and Zainee Sharik (Lyceum-Ratnapura) in Principals of Accounts.

Lyceum International School also took away the “Top in Sri Lanka” awards for A/L in four more subjects, Mohammed Miflal Muzammil in Accounting, Sandun Perera Abayasekara Goonaratne in Mathematics, Dilshan Rajeev Perera in Physics, Muhammed Nafath Naamiq in Economics and Sandun Perera Abayasekara Goonaratne student of Lyceum Nugegoda High Achiever in further Mathematics respectively.

Best Across Achievers of Lyceum International Schools were Thithira Asel Binura Wijesinghe: O/L – Best Across Seven – Second Place, Jayath Randula Panapitiya Dias: O/L – Best Across Seven – Third Place, Ishanki Anjana De Mel: O/L – Best Across Eight – Third Place, Mohammed Miflal Muzammil: A/L – Best Across Three – First Place, Praveen Joshua Kanagasabai: A/L – Best Across Four – Third Place, Sajana Sathsara Meddaduwage: A/L – Best Across Three – Third Place, Sandun Perera Abayasekara Goonaratne: A/L – Best Across Four – First Place, Muhammed Nafath Naamiq: A/L Best Across Three – Second Place.
