Medigain honours its longstanding employees at awards ceremony
MediGain had its Service Awards Ceremony followed by a Gala year end
ball in Dec, 2012 at the Hilton Residencies Colombo. The Service awards
were presented to top employees with continuous service for three and
five years respectively.

MediGain, which is a BOI enterprise, is engaged in providing high-end
Healthcare Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) services to the large but
fragmented US Healthcare Industry. MediGain specializes in complex
Revenue Cycle Management services along with other outsourced
administrative and operational KPO functions for Hospitals, Surgery
Centers and Specialists / Physicians.
MediGain was a pioneer start up in the BPO/KPO industry back in
2004/2005. Today, MediGain is the largest Healthcare KPO Enterprise in
Sri Lanka with a total staff strength of over 500 employees in office
locations in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Chennai, India, Dallas, Austin, Ft.
Wayne, Monroe, and Phoenix in the United States.
Many employees who joined MediGain as school leavers in 2004/2005,
have grown to take on challenging leadership, managerial and domain
specialist roles in the company with overseas exposure and visibility.
MediGain has always provided its employees a challenging work
environment with consistent career growth opportunities.
Sujiva Dewaraja, Chairman of SLASSCOM and Shri P. Kumaran, Deputy
high Commissioner of India graced the occasion and presented awards.
Dewaraja in his key note speech gave an encouraging overview of the
future of the BPO/KPO industry in Sri Lanka and also stressed the
government of Sri Lanka’s goal of reaching US dollars one billion in
export revenues by 2016.
Dinesh Butani, Chairman, MediGain appreciated the efforts by SLASSCOM,
ICTA and the BOI in building industry awareness, concessions provided
for the industry in the latest budget and the continuous support given
for further industry expansion. He also thanked Sri P Kumaran, deputy
high commissioner and his team for their invaluable support in setting
up operations in Chennai, India.
RukshanTennekoon, VP operations thanked the entire MediGain team for
achieving the aggressive operational goals set in 2012 and also talked
about some of the encouraging and exciting career and growth
opportunities lined up in 2013.
The event was sponsored by several MediGain vendors, partners and
well-wishers. Principle sponsors were Seri Natural Products and Ceylon
Cold Stores.
Hatton national Bank and Tata Communication Services co-sponsored the
event. Several enthusiastic and colorful performances by MediGain Staff
were also showcased. The event was organized by the tireless efforts of
the MediGain Recreational Club. |
