Heavy fine on man with hooch

A man arrested by Ingiriya Police with 5,900 drams of goda and distilling equipment, was fined Rs 120,000 by Horana Magistrate Mahinda Ranasingha. The suspect is a resident of Handupalpola, Millewa.

Sub Inspector N Nayanajith and a team from the Anti - Corruption Unit, Panadura nabbed the suspect.
