LinkedIn operates the world’s largest professional network on the
Internet with over 187 million members in over 200 countries and
territories in eighteen languages. There are currently more than
2,600,000 company pages on LinkedIn.
“Being associated with LinkedIn has given us tremendous leverage in
the area of sourcing talent. Finding the right talent is a major
challenge to many organisations. We saw the use of the internet being
far more superior now than before, where applicants tend to rely on
internet more than other forms of traditional media, such as newspapers
to search for jobs and also to market themselves to the corporate world.
This is one of the key factors that triggered our partnership with
LinkedIn which enabled us to be able to capitalize on this growing
trend. This will help us to find the perfect candidates that fit our
profile and our job descriptions. LinkedIn has given us access to over
thousands of candidate profiles within the social media space across the
globe in a matter of minutes,” said Asitha Jayatunga, Head of Group
Human Resources.
As a broad-based company operating around the world, this association
with LinkedIn allows Expolanka Holdings PLC to find human resources that
