Saviya Development Foundation AGM tomorrow
The Annual General Meeting of the Saviya Development Foundation, to
evaluate services for two decades will held on January 26 at 10 am at
Galle, Bataganvila, Saviya Headoffice premises.

It will be held under the guidance of University of Ruhuna,
Chancellor Most Ven Aggamaha Panditha Pallaththara Sumanajothi Thera,
foundation's Advisory Committee chairman Dr Winston de Silva said.
Colombo Hunupitiya Gangarama Viharadhipathi and founder of Sri
Jinarathana Technical Training Institute Ven Galaboda Gnanissara Thera
is expected to participate.
Professionals engaged in social service, representatives of Saviya
community based organisations, university lectures, writers and media
personnel are scheduled to attend the meeting.
The Saviya Development Foundation was established in the early part
of the 90th decade.
Personal development with fresh social attitudes, participatory
methodologies, research activities to minimise rural and urban poverty,
humanitarian social activities to help the community faced with tear and
sorrow, sensitivity activities on environment and protection, are some
of the main activities of Saviya.
