A brilliant century (111) and a match bag of 7 for 54 by Visal
Senanayake helped St.Sebastians' College Moratuwa to bag first innings'
honours in their under-19 second XI match against St.Anthony's College
Katugastota which ended in a draw at Moratuwa. Sent into bat first,
St.Sebastian's College piled up 312 for 7 (declared) with the help of
Visal Senanayake's century (111) and Muditha Sanjaya's half ton (63).
Visal Senanayake scored his century which included 20 hits to the ropes
and one over it in 149 deliveries.
In reply St.Anthony's College were all out for 117 runs. Shaveen
Fernando ( four for 33) and Visal Senanayake (3 for 17) were the most
impressive bowlers.
After being asked to follow on, the visitors were struggling at 84
for 8. Visal Fernando did the damage with 4 for 37.
