Azarians excel in drawn game

Azar Central College, Akurana took honours in their schools under 19
cricket tournament match against Wayamba Royal College, Kurunegala which
ended in a draw at Ibbgamuwa yesterday.
Azar Central College made 132 runs and Waymba Royal College were
skittled out for 94 in their first innings.
Azar Central College piled up 168 in their second essay which set
Wayamba Royal College the task of scoring 207 runs to win. The umpires
after two inspections called off the game at 2.30 p.m. due to rain.
Wayamba Royal's left arm spinner K.A. Sirisena had an outstanding
match capturing 4 for 27 in the first inning and followed up with 5 for
54 in the second to return the match figures of 9 for 81.
Azar Central College 132 all out in 47.2 overs (Mohamed Nuslan 49,
Mohamed Saffram 31, M. Umair Khan 13, A.K. Damith 3 for 20, K.A.
