Moratuwa campus clash: three in protective custody

Three students of the Moratuwa University arrested in connection with an incident where six students were injured in a clash between the students of NDT and Engineering Faculty of University of Moratuwa on January 16, were ordered to be placed in protective custody until January 23 by the Moratuwa magistrate.

Another suspect who assisted the students to flee after the clash, was also taken into custody.

He was released on two sureties each of Rs 10,000.

Moratuwa Police are investigating.
