Mobitel branches initiate personalized services for differently-abled

The National Mobile Service Provider, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel is committed and dedicated towards uplifting the service standards in the industry, and recently introduced yet another first, by launching a dedicated service for its differently-abled customers. A brand that has lived up to its promise: "We Care. Always." caters to all segments of the market and has left no stone unturned when delivering and meeting customer expectations.

The launch of the service took place on the January 1, 2013. "We are a brand that truly lives and breathes its credo. Meeting our customer expectations will always take pride of place when strategic decisions are made. Today, we cater to customers from different walks of life and with varied abilities. As a socially responsible corporate entity, it is imperative that our services are available to our customers at their own convenience and comfort. Mobitel's work is based on a very strong customer-centric foundation which revolves around our credo of "We Care. Always", which stands for respect, appreciation, trust, efficiency and an innate sense of our customers needs," Lalith De Silva, Chief Executive Officer, Mobitel said.

Mobitel has renovated all its branch offices making them accessible to all. Mobitel has also trained its front-line staff and has a dedicated team that will visit differently-abled customers on request to meet their communication needs. In order to make a difference in their lifestyles, Mobitel has a range of unique service offerings which further endorse their commitment to take the country towards a knowledge-rich society.

For those who are unable to visit the branches, a specially personalized service is on offer. This entails the doorstep services of a Mobitel customer care executive. Offered via registration, these services range from SIM card replacements to new connections, service activations and many more.
