To achieve LTTE's failed objectives:

'Anti-SL forces using Hulftsdorp Hill'

Local and foreign conspirational forces are trying to use the Hulftsdorp Superior Courts Complex to achieve the objectives which the LTTE failed to achieve through military means, Mass Media and information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said.

He said these forces who had lost in the international arena once used the former Army Commander as a tool to gain their objectives and today they were using the CJ's Impeachment issue to attain their ulterior motives.

Minister Rambukwella said following the defeat of terrorism, the LTTE rump and their diaspora were trying to use the people holding high positions in the country to achieve their target.

Rambukwella expressed these sentiments addressing a meeting after opening a new OPD section at the Menikhinna District Hospital on December 14. The new unit was built by the Central Provincial Council's Health, Indigenous Medicine, Probation and Child Care Services Ministry at a cost of Rs. 9 million.

Minister Rambukwella said eventhough the LTTE had been defeated militarily, its ghosts were still rumbling in the international arena and it was the duty of the patriotic people to defeat them. He said the impeachment motion against the Chief Justice had been brought legally under constitutional provisions given to parliament but the people seeking petty political gains are trying to make use of it to conspire against the State.

Provincial Minister Sunil Kithsiri Amaratunga Provincial Council member Linton Wijesinghe and Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha Vice Chairman Asela Ekanayake were also present.
