Colombo Zone II beat Kalutara

The Colombo South Zone Two under 15 cricket team recorded a 67 runs victory over the Kalutara District under 15 cricket team in their Prima Under 15 All Island District Tournament match played at the Kalutara Esplanade.

Colombo South Zone Two won the toss and chose to bat first and scored 218 runs for seven wickets. Riyan Perera 49, Mohamed Akram 43, Lakshina Rodrigo 30, Vimukthi Ellegoda 23 and Asan Malka 20 made useful contributions to the C.S.Z. Two.

In bowling S. Weerarathna 2/22 and Ravin Lakshan 2/72.

Kalutara District team in reply scored 151 runs all out in 44.2 overs with Pathum Nissanka 58 and Lakshan Harshana 33. Best bowling for C.S.Z. Two came from Ravin De Silva who bagged 5 wickets for 32 runs. Mohamed Akram and Torin took two wickets each.
