Drama and leadership training workshops for kids

Renowned dramatist Nalaka Swarnatileke will be holding drama and leadership training workshops for children this month. The events are aimed at locating the hidden potentials in children and helping them to excel in their talents.

They also help them develop their leadership skills and teach them to work as a team in managing a project.

Children between eight to 14 years can take part in the workshops. The workshops are conducted at the Nalaka Swarnatileke Performing Arts Academy in Vijayarama, Nugegoda, close to Sri Jayawardenapura University. For more details call 0712215281 or 0777577718.

Nalaka has many successful productions to his name like Dangamalla, Anne and Mama Venama Malak. Many of the children he had trained and introduced to the field have gone on to take part in film and teledrama productions and make a name for themselves by displaying their talents to the public.
