Special train service

Extra train services will be in operation between Kandy and Polgahawela and Rambukkana and Kandy on Saturday, Sunday and government holidays, Sri Lanka Railways said in a release yesterday.

There will be a train at 5.10pm from Kandy to Polgahawela and from Rambukkana to Kandy at 10.45am.

An additional fully aircondition train will ply from Fort to Kandy from December 12 to January 6. The train will leave at 8.50am from Fort and at 4.50pm from Kandy to Fort.
