Nature’s Secrets wins National Green Award for second consecutive
year

Nature’s Beauty Creations (NBC), manufacturers of Sri Lanka’s No. 01
herbal cosmetics brand ‘Nature’s Secrets’ was awarded a prestigious
National Green Award at the recently concluded National Green Awards
Ceremony 2012 conducted by the Central Environmental Authority (Under
the Ministry of Environment).
This is the second consecutive year that NBC has won this award which
is a true testament of their commitment and demonstrated leadership in
conserving natural resources, managing and minimizing waste, and
controlling the use of non renewable resources.
Yet again, Natures Secrets was the only cosmetics company to be
presented with this coveted award, a truly remarkable achievement in a
market with many multi-national cosmetic brands.
Nature’s Secrets is the only cosmetics brand in Sri Lanka to be
manufactured under European recognized GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
standards.
Their ultra-modern, top-notch, and purpose built factory provides
modern cosmetology to transform age-old herbal remedies into world class
cosmetics creations. Around its factory premises, NBC has created a lush
herbal garden consisting of more than 500 varieties of valuable
medicinal plants and they are the only private sector company in Sri
Lanka to have established a Plant Research Centre to promote research
and development studies on medicinal plants.
A modern Plant Tissue Culture Lab has also been set up with the
objective of mass propagating and distributing rare and valuable
medicinal plants amongst Sri Lankans and preserving them for future
generations.
During the past decade, Nature’s Secrets has progressed steadily and
their vision is to create a global brand of herbal cosmetics from Sri
