Record Partnership by Raveen Nanayakkara and Ashain Daniel

A magnificent opening partnership, aided by two brilliant knocks, (Raveen Nanaykkara 103 not out and Ashain Daniel 67 not out) helped St. Joseph’s College under-13-C team to put up a tremendous performance to beat Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya by an innings and 127 Runs in their under-13 division III Cricket match played at Darley Road, Colombo 10 on Monday.

The strong foundation laid by Josephian openers Raveen and Daniel with a solid unbroken 219-run stand for the first wicket could probably be a record first wicket partnership in the under 13 segment. Raveen Nanaykkara hit his 103 in 88 balls and Daniel scored his 67 runs off 47 deliveries.
