Committee stage debate begins today

The Committee stage debate on the Appropriation Bill for the financial year 2013 will commence in Parliament today.

The vote on the second reading of the Appropriation Bill was passed with a majority of 103 votes on Saturday. The vote was taken at 5pm.

Hundred and fifty members voted in favour and 53 voted against.

Fifteen members were absent.
