Promising old Cambrians felicitated

A ceremony to felicitate Cambrians who brought honour and glory to their alma-mater will be held under patronage of the Principal Sampath Weragoda today at 2 p.m at the College Main Hall.

This ceremony is organized by the Principal members of the staff, school development society and the Old Boys Association.

Amongst them are world carrom champion and college carrom coach Nishantha Fernando and a member of the world carrom team Premil Cooray, Test, ODI and first cambrian to represent the country in T/20 Lahiru Thirmanne and members of the Sri Lanka Wushu team who participated at the world traditional Washu Championships in China.

Member and the college wushu coach Nishantha Vanuslemburg who bagged one Gold, four Silver and four Bronze medals and Cambrian school boys Viraj Denuka two Silvers, Pathum Poorna one Silver and Janitha Rannal one bronze will also be felicitated.
