Dettol co-sponsors five day medical exhibition
Dettol, a power brand from the portfolio of Reckitt Benckiser and a
global leader in the health and hygiene category co-sponsored a three
day medical exhibition arranged by National Institute of Health
Sciences, Kalutara.
During this programme, Dettol used interactive means to educate
consumers on facts about protection against germs and also provided
valuable information on personal hygiene. The three day event saw a huge
number of visitors including parents, teachers and children viewing the
demonstrations on proper hand washing techniques while participating in
special games through the day.
The main activity at the event was based on educating children on how
to wash their hands, as hand washing is the initial measure of personal
hygiene. The Public Health Instructors (PHIs) were actively engaged in
the process of demonstrating the eight steps of hand washing while
educating the participants on the importance of it in different
occasions.
Another stall at the event hosted interactive games for children,
where the winners were awarded gifts.
Dettol is known for its "trusted germ protection" in Sri Lanka under
the umbrella of Reckitt Benckiser (Lanka) Ltd which is known for
marketing world renowned brands such as Harpic, Mortein, Airwick, Lysol,
Veet, Gaviscon, Strepsils and Disprin.
