GCE OL evaluation reports out

GCE Ordinary Level Examination evaluation reports are being issued as
a guide for students and teachers, Education Minister Bandula
Gunawardena said.
This is the first occasion that evaluation reports of the G.C.E.
Ordinary Level examination are being released. The evaluation report
containing the marking scheme of the Ordinary Level Examination in 2010
are being released from last week by the Education Ministry.
Apart from the marking scheme, the report provides necessary guidance
to students to answer question papers at the examination. The evaluation
report also pays special attention to the common week points of students
when facing the examination.
The Minister said that 185,000 copies of the report have been sent to
schools countrywide by the Education Ministry.
These copies are issued free to students sitting for their OLs and
the teachers .
The government has taken measures to release the report also for the
benefit of private candidates and other interested groups including
students studying in private schools .
The Ministry has issued evaluation reports pertaining to Sinhala
language, literature, Tamil language, science, mathematics, English and
history.
