Taiwan Textile Fair 2012, platform for exporters

‘The Taiwan Textile Fair 2012’, to be held from October 30 to 31 in
Colombo will create new opportunities for local textile companies to
connect directly with main textile companies from Taiwan.

Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt Ltd Director Arti Bagat told
the Daily News Business that Textile Fair will be an ideal platform for
Sri Lankan garment manufacturers and exporters to network and source
with leading textile companies from Taiwan.
Organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Taiwan Textile Federation
along with Worldex India Exhibition and Promotion Pvt Ltd, ‘Taiwan
Textile Fair 2012’ will see the participation of over 100 buyers and
sellers both home and abroad in the respective industry and 17 Taiwan
textile companies will be exhibiting their innovative, stylish fabrics
and accessories to the Sri Lankan business buyers, partners, key
decision makers and others.
“We have done a lot in terms of promotions for the fair and we are
glad to announce that we are moving very smoothly at the moment and over
100 industry representatives have pre registered with us. This is the
first ‘Taiwan Textile Fair moving into Sri Lanka following a decade long
success story of textile fairs in India and other countries,” said Bagat.
The fair will showcase a wide range of Taiwan textile industry
related products, ranging from Functional Fabrics, Woven Fabric, Knitted
Fabric, Textured Fabric, Cotton Yarn and Grey Fabric, Underwear and
Lingerie Fabric, Sports and Golf Fabric, Denim and Hosiery Machines,
Laces and Embroidery Fabrics, Dyeing & Resin Finishes, Buttons, Zippers,
Interlocks, Buckles, Ribbons, Badges, Spandex Fabric, Jersey and Brushed
Fabric, etc.
‘The Taiwan Textile Fair 2012’ is endorsed by the Sri Lanka Export
Development Board (EDB), supported by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC),
Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters
Association (SLAEA) and will be held in Colombo at the Taj Samudra,
Upper Crystal Room, on October 30 and 31, 2012. |
