Rain spoils Lumbini hopes

Rain spoiled the hopes of Lumbini Vidyalaya gaining a victory against Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Kottawa in their inter-school under 13 division one tournament cricket match played at Kottawa.

Lumbini score was propped up by Gagana Weeratunga with 59 runs while S. Akarachchi claimed 4 for 33 for Kottawa Dharmapalians.

When rain stopped play homesters were 2 for 55.
