City Cross 2012 today

Rotary Club of Colombo Fort is organizing a fun rally known as the City Cross 2012 as the main fund raising event of the club.

City Cross 2012 will provide the participants with tasks to be carried out at "Pit Stops" in order to earn points and is expected to draw over 500 participants in 100 cars. The Rotary Club of Colombo Fort strictly encourages drivers to be safe and obey road rules.

As in the past, the funds raised through this event will be used to implement identified community service projects during the current Rotary year of 2012/2013.

One of them being the donation of a Heart Monitor to the Kalubowila General Hospital.

The City Cross will start at the Colombo Hilton at 2pm today and will end at the Nawam Mawatha car park where felicitation of awards together with a funfair will be held.
