Korean language test on October 13, 14 at nine centres

The 10th Korean language proficiency test conducted by the Korean Human Resources Department and the Sri Lanka Examinations Department will be held on October 13 and 14 at nine examination centres in Colombo, Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) sources said.

A total of 34,261 candidates are eligible to sit this year's exam. Candidates should only bring a black pen, examination admission card and the passport to the examination hall. They should not bring mobile phones to the examination hall, the sources said.

The entire process of the examination will be coordinated by the SLFEB.

Sources said candidates found guilty of fraud will be imposed a two year ban, preventing them from sitting for Korean exams in the future. Police will provide security at the examination centres.

The exams will be conducted at Hindu College, Isipatana Vidyalaya, Visakha Vidyalaya, Thurstan College, Mahanama Vidyalaya, D S Senanayaka Vidyalaya, Nalanda Vidyalaya, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya and Ashoka Vidyalaya.
