Chandrasena takes oaths as deputy minister

S M Chandrasena took oaths as Agrarian Services and Wildlife Deputy Minister before President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday. Chandrasena said he resigned from the ministerial portfolio a few days ago to fulfill the wishes of the people by making way to appoint S M Ranjith as the Chief Minister who obtained the highest preferential votes from the Anuradhapura district at the recent North Central Provincial Council elections.
