Mihin Lanka to increase flights to Bahrain and Jakarta

Mihin Lanka is to introduce additional flights on routes to Bahrain and Jakarta. The airline will add two extra weekly round-trip services to Jakarta, and one extra weekly round-trip service to Bahrain, bringing the overall number of flights to six times per week on each route.

Mihin’s new flight on the Colombo – Bahrain route will operate on Tuesdays and will begin on December 7. The flight MJ215 will leave Colombo at 6.30 pm and reach Bahrain at 9.35 pm local time. The return flight MJ216 leaves Bahrain at 10.35 pm and arrives in Colombo at 6.05 am the following day. The service will operate throughout the week except on Saturday.

The additional services on the Colombo – Jakarta route will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays and will begin on December 9. Flight MJ603 will leave Colombo at 1.25pm and arrive in Jakarta at 7.50pm. The returning flight MJ604 departs from Jakarta at 8.50pm for an arrival into Colombo at 11.55pm.

In addition to convenient travel into Colombo, the flights are also well timed to connect into onward destinations of Mihin Lanka, as well as its partner SriLankan Airlines – offering customers the choice of easily visiting a range of destinations in India, Middle East, Asia Pacific as well as Europe through a quick connection.
