Kegalle Marians win by 31 runs

Danushka Piyarathne with a match bag of 12 for 86 helped St. Mary’s College Kegalle to beat Moratu Vidyalaya by 31 runs in their inter-school under 19 cricket match played at Kegalle.

Batting first Marians made 192 and Harsha Devinda took 6 for 54 and in reply Vidyalian were bowled out for a paltry 95 runs with Danushka Piyarathne claiming 6 for 32 and in their second essay homesters declared at 88 for 8 leaving the visitors a target of 186 runs and Vidyalians were all out for 154 runs with Thilan Kavishka making 44 runs and Piyarathne bagging 6 for 54.
