Vidyartha hold Kingswood to a draw

Vidyartha College, Kandy held Kingswood College, Kandy, to a tame draw in their inter-school cricket match concluded at Police Grounds, Kandy, yesterday.

Vidyartha College batted the entire first day and a few overs on the following day in making 204 all out.

Kingswood College batted the rest of the second day in making 214 for 6 in 78.5 overs by close.

For the Kingswoodians Shalutha Walisundera made a welcome return to the side and made 66 with 6 fours and 1 six off 164 balls and he put on 101 for the third wicket with Supun Bandara 69 (7 fours, 3 sixes, 166 balls).
