Premajayantha yesterday said that the UPFA will form provincial
administrations in North Central, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern Provinces
as the party which has obtained highest number of votes at the

An incident of post-election violence is
reported from the North Central Province where a victorious UNP
candidate allegedly attacked a defeated candidate of the same Party
by storming his house with a group of about 30 supporters around
11.30pm on Monday.
