La Fortress opens wine cellar doors

The La Fortress opened its wine cellar doors to an exclusive tasting of wines from Les Grands Chais de France at a training programme by Wine Connoisseur, Bill Fisher. The event was conducted by I D Lanka Limited and Bill Fisher, who is the Export Director for Les Grands Chais de France was the key note speaker.

Bill Fisher, with 30 years in the wine industry hails from Britain, whose passion for wine led him to France, where he married and settled down. His penchant for good wines eventually saw him involve in the wine industry, where he is now in charge of 22 of the 160 countries that Les Grands Chais de France exports to.

The selection of wines that were tasted during this program was La Baume Chardonnay, La Baume Cabernet Sauvignon, Cruse Cabernet Sauvignon, Cruse Sauvignon Blanc, El Cambo Merlot, and El Cambo Chardonnay.
