The Legends emerge champions

The Legends emerged champions by defeating Nor Warriors in the final of the Nor Lanka Premier Cricket League 2012 organized by Nor Lanka Manufacturing Limited held recently at P Saravanamuththu Stadium, Colombo.The tournament held among the departments of the company saw 32 exciting matches among 18 teams at P Sara pitch. A team included five men and two women players.

Jude Shanaka was adjudged 'Man of the Series' while Indika Jayasekara from 'Nor Warriors' team bagged the 'Best Bowler' award and Rumesh De Silva from 'The Legends' team claimed the 'Best Batsman' award. Sumudu Nimeshani won the 'Best Female Cricketer' award.
