Arson attack in Galle following factional clash

A supermarket in Ukwatte, Galle was set on fire by an unidentified group following a clash between two factions in the area on Saturday night.

Galle Police said there had been friction between the two factions in Gintota over religious followings. Three shops including a supermarket, were damaged in the fire. The Police deployed STF personnel for additional security
