Two shops damaged by fire

Two shops, including a warehouse in Maharagama and Kosgama were damaged by fire on Sunday and yesterday.

A warehouse in Depanama, Pannipitiya which was full of plastic goods caught fire around 1am on Monday. Police and neighbours doused the fire before it spread to the other shops.

A tyre shop at Kaluaggala, Hanwella in Kosgama caught fire on Sunday night.

Police, Army personnel and the people in the area extinguished the fire which broke out after an electric spark in the shop. No injured was reported.
