MP Namal Rajapaksa

The Young Parliamentarians Association (YPA) requested the government and the President to provide a fair solution to the students who are being depressed and worried due to the change of Advanced Level Z scores.

UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa representing the YPA made this request at a special press conference at the Tangalle Carlton House on Monday. He observed that many contro versies have emerged with the announcement of the Z scores, adding that they, as young Parliamentarians, could understand the situation of the students.

We request from the President and the Education Minister to act in a fair manner towards the students who are inconvenienced due to this matter. The students in low income families have been highly upset due to this matter.

This issue needs a just solution. We, as young MPs would like to mediate on this situation. The government will not let the students to face any unjust, he opined.
