SLFP HQ to be shifted to Sri Jayewardenapura

“The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) head office is to be shifted to a
new building constructed at Sri Jayewardenapura, “ said UPFA MP Namal
Rajapaksa at a press conference organized by the SLFP Young MPs
Association held at Swiss hotel in Kandy yesterday.
‘The seven storeyed building will comprise a museum showcasing the
SLFP’s history, a conference hall which can accommodate about 2,500
people, a Political Education Training Institute and other advanced
facilities to suit international standards,” he said.
He also said as estimated, one square foot of the new building would
cost around Rs 10,000. This building consists of 280,000 square feet. He
also said the building will also house a library, computer centre and
many modern facilities. |
