Man pushed to his death two storeys down

A man died after he was pushed two storeys down an upstair house and another was injured when a person attacked them in Grandpass on Sunday.

The incident occurred at house No 44 at Orugodawatte when an unidentified person entered the upstairs of the house and attacked the owner of the house and cut the other one’s neck while they were consuming alcohol.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had pushed the victim, 39 year old K A Suwendra Kumara from the second floor which caused his death. The owner of the house was admitted to Colombo National Hospital.

Grandpass Police have commenced a search operation to arrest the suspect.
